Freelancing Will Stop In The Future?

Our life is slowly becoming online. For example, our shopping-business, education, office, transport, food etc. are all becoming online.

 

Earlier we used to buy things directly from stores but now most of the things are bought online. Because online shopping is easy, hassle free, time saving. Besides, there are many other benefits.

 

So in future there will be no such thing as shop or market. All our purchases will be online only.

 

As our lives are becoming online, the importance of digital marketing is increasing. Because when an organization goes online, it needs many digital marketers.

 

Let me give you an example: Suppose there is a store called Kasem Fashion House. There are 5 employees who work directly in the store as salesmen. Now the owner of Kasem Fashion has closed the shop and gone completely online for more sales.

 

Now if you do business online then there is no need of direct salesman. So those 5 employees lost their jobs. Now he has to hire 10 new digital marketers. For example: 1 Facebook marketer, 1 YouTube marketer, 1 SEO expert, 1 web site maintain, 1 online order collection, another chatting with customers, another for making product graphics and videos. Thus he will need at least 10 people who will all be sitting on computers or simply doing digital marketing.

 

The owner's income will be higher. Earlier if he used to sell 1 lakh taka per day directly in the shop, now naturally he can sell 10 lakh taka in the whole country.

 

Thus when an organization converts online, many digital marketers are needed. Larger organizations require more people to work online.

 

People's online dependence is increasing day by day. And this online work is: "Freelancing".

 

Now you decide whether freelancing will increase or decrease in the future.

 

Jobs are less in Bangladesh, unemployment is more. But in the developed countries of the world, the situation is exactly the opposite, there are many jobs but there are no candidates for those jobs. Online freelancing has solved it. There is no national border online, no visa-passport required. You can easily apply to foreign companies sitting in the country, give online interviews, work online and get salary directly in your bank account.

 

All the jobs in the developed world are now online, it is a blessing for a country full of unemployment like ours. In the future, we will mean online jobs.

 

Another interesting thing is that online salary is given in dollars. The job for which you will get a salary of 20 thousand taka in Bangladesh is the same job you will get 2 thousand dollars if you do it online in a foreign company. This two thousand dollars is too little for them but too much for us. If converted to Bangla Taka, that is about 2 lakh Taka. That means you can earn ten times the money you earn by working in the country if you do it online for a foreign company.

 

And online jobs are very secure. Because if one job goes, you can add 10 more jobs day by day. The job market of the whole world is open for you.

 

But no matter how many jobs you have there is no reason to be happy. To do these jobs you need to learn the tasks very well and acquire skills by doing the tasks repeatedly. Then the whole world is yours.

 

The world is changing, and so are the types of jobs. Only those who can adapt to this change will survive. Those who cannot adopt new technologies will be lost.
