Whats App has been testing many features in recent beta
versions. Users will be able to 'mute' a video before sharing it with such a
feature. Apart from this, the messaging service is also testing the feature
that it will disappear after viewing the picture.
Pictures will disappear - this feature allows users to send pictures to each other. But after seeing that picture and leaving the conversation, that picture will no longer exist, it will be deleted automatically.
Clicking on the blue toggle will also show a warning message
for such images. In that message, Whats App will inform the user, "Once you
leave the conversation, the media will disappear." The blue toggle can be
found next to the 'Add Caption' text box.
Whats App is testing this feature as if the picture has
disappeared a few months after the message disappearing feature was introduced.
The new icon of this feature has also been seen in the beta version. The new
icon will be seen in the media editing section. Users will be able to decide
whether the image will disappear before sharing it.
Of course, there is no guarantee that the picture will disappear. Gizmo China has mentioned that in the new feature, the recipient of the picture can take a screenshot if he wants, the sender will know about it or not. The same goes for the company's automatically deleted messaging feature. Whats App did not provide any additional security features there either.
While such a feature is new to Whats App, it's not new to
owner Facebook. Earlier, the company came up with such an automatically deleted
photo / video feature for their photo sharing service Instagram.
It is unknown at this time because what he will do after the
leaving to post. Gizmo China reports that the company is working on Android and
iOS versions.
