Welcome to Storyflix. In this video, we will explain
Crazy Little Things Called Love. This movie tells the story of a
14-year-old girl who falls in love with an older student and
tries desperately to win his attention. When she is too afraid to express
her love, will fate bring them to meet again in the
future? Let's find out in Crazy Little Things Called
Love. Crazy Little Thing Called Love begins with a 7th grade
junior high school student who is busy looking at a handsome high school
student named Chone. The girl, Nam, has three friends who
look ordinary, just like her. They are Gie, Cheer and Nim.
Every day after school, Nam helps her mother who opens a special
lodging service for tourists visiting Thailand. She also has a younger
sister who often fights with her. Nam always looks for opportunities
to look at Chone from a distance. Chone himself is good at playing
soccer, making him an idol for female students.
The situation makes it quite difficult for Nam to
approach him. One day, Nam's uncle, who worked with her father in
America, came to visit the house. Her uncle delivered a message
from their father that if one of his daughters got the highest
grade in the class, he would provide her with a ticket to America to meet
him. Her father has not returned to Thailand since five years
ago. Nam is determined to study hard to get the top rank in the
class. She misses her father so much. While at school, Nam and her
friends were bullied by other students. But suddenly, Chone
came to their aid. So as a thank you, Nam gave him a gift.
Unexpectedly, Chone knows her name. Hearing him call her name
was enough to make her dance with joy. That night, Nam's three
friends gather at her house. They read a book about how to get
attention from the boys. The book is actually superstitious, and Nam
doesn't seem to care. But after her three friends came home, she read the
book and followed the instructions. She stood by the window, then
drew with her finger, following the direction of the stars in the
sky. Meanwhile, Chone was visited by a friend while he was playing
ball in his front yard.
His friend offered him to enter a photography contest. Chone seemed interested even though his talent was playing soccer. Chone's father used to be a professional soccer player. But for failing to score a penalty kick, his father became the subject of ridicule. Even though it happened to his father, it still traumatized Chone, so he never wanted to join any football club. At school, Nam and her three friends are discussing a book on how to make people fall in love. They agreed to help Nam approach Chone. But unfortunately, their efforts never succeeded. Every time Nam would approach Chone, there was always a girl who approached him first. The girl's name is Faye. After school, her three friends threw away Nam's motorbike key so that Chone would take her home. But again, Faye took Chone s attention of her efforts. This time Faye pretended to sprain her leg near Chone. Nam and her three friends couldn't help but stare as Chone drove her home.
Time passed, and Nam managed to advance to 8th grade.
Her three friends still continued to help Nam to get close to Chone. They
dress Nam so she can look prettier. From starting to scrub her skin,
putting on a face mask to make Nam's face brighten, to giving a scrub to
make her skin look brighter. Each extracurricular club invites all
students to join in the new academic year. But the drama club led by Ms. Inn
is very quiet registrant. On the other hand, the dance club led by
Ms. Orn is very popular. Nam and her three friends then joined the queue at
the dance club. But then Chone came with his camera. Faye, who was also in
line, immediately asked Chone to talk so he would take a picture of her.
Nam certainly does not want to lose. She poses near Faye so that her
face fits into the frame. After taking the photo, Chone noticed that now
Nam's skin was a little brighter than before. Next, Nam and her three
friends got into a commotion with Faye and her friends. They pushed
each other, forcing Ms. Orn to ask them out of line. But because Faye
and her friends are considered beautiful, they are still allowed to join.
When Nam and her three friends sat in the cafeteria, Ms. Inn asks
them to join the drama club.
She knew that Nam had better English skills than the
other students, so she appointed her to play Snow White, the main
character in the drama "Snow White and Seven Dwarfs". On the
performing day, many students watched the dance performance. In contrast
to the drama shows that only a handful of students watched. What's
more, Chone was nowhere to be seen among the rows of audience
seats, making Nam even sadder. Ms. Inn continues to encourage
her students until the drama show is over. Nam sees someone has
bitten the apple used for the previous show in the dressing room. The
person also left a letter under the apple. Nam rejoices, surmising that
the letter is from Chone. However, her friends suspected that the letter
was written by a strange student who often ate apples. The next day,
Chone is approached by a new student named Top. Turns out he is
Chone's childhood friend. In no time, Top captured the
attention of the girls at school. Nam is now also the center of
attention, especially the recording of the drama that she played is
playing on the television in the cafeteria. So when Top saw Nam
in the play, he became interested in her.
Time has passed, and now Nam is in 9th grade. While playing soccer on the sports field, Top asks Chone to take a penalty kick, but Chone refuses because he is still traumatized. Then, the two girls who led the marching band asked Top to take a photo with them. But when Chone was about to take their picture, the two girls clashed over, wanting to stand closer to Top. Their bickering got worse until they and Ms. Inn, who tried to intervene, were injured. Therefore, the principal asked Ms. Inn to look for a new drum major for a sports festival event soon. When Ms. Inn came upstairs, she happened to see Nam adept at throwing her badminton racket in the air. Ms Inn immediately came down and asked Nam to be the drum major. After that, Ms. Inn trains Nam to throw and catch the marching band baton. But it turns out, being a drum major is not as easy as she thought. Nam always failed to catch the stick. However, her spirit flared because her friends relentlessly cheered her on. She continued to practice diligently until her baton nearly hit the principal and Ms. Inns one day. Annoyed, the principal confiscated the baton. But that didn't stop Nam. Using the handle of a broom whose end was covered by a bottle of mineral water,
she continued to practice. She even trained into the
night when at the same time, Chone was playing soccer. Chone hesitated
when he was about to take a penalty kick. However, his friends continued
to cheer him on, and he confidently kicked the ball towards the goal
and scored. His father, coach, and friends cheered. Chone can
finally let go of the trauma from his father's defeat. Thanks to
Chone's success in scoring a penalty, Nam became more enthusiastic in
training. On the sports festival day, the students were fascinated to
see Nam, and Top was no exception. On Valentine's Day, Nam gets a
lot of chocolate from the male students at her school, though none of
them come from Chone. Not long after, Chone came to her class with a
flower, and Nam immediately smiled broadly. But her happiness only
lasted a moment. The flower was indeed for her, but it wasn't a gift from
Chone, but his friend. Arriving home, Nam found an anonymous letter in her
bag. A mysterious person asked her to meet them at school tomorrow. The
next day, Nam is happy to see Chone appear where she is waiting.
But again, she had
to swallow disappointment. The person who wrote the letter turns out
to be Top, and he now confesses his love for Nam. Nam just responded with
silence, and for some reason, Top thought she agreed to be his
girlfriend. During summer vacation, Nam's three friends ask her to meet.
They plan to buy a cake to celebrate Cheer's birthday. However, Nam
couldn't join them because she was on vacation with Top and his friends.
Actually Nam is only willing to go with Top so she can approach
Chone. On a bridge, while Chone was chatting with Nam, Top came with
a plate of food. After that, when they were about to return to the edge
of the bridge, Nam suddenly fell and sprained her leg. Top immediately
carried Nam, even though she hoped that Chone would carry her in her
heart. After vacation, Nam visits Cheer's house with a cake, but all
of her friends have gone home. In the end, Nam blew out the candle alone
by the roadside. When she returns to school, Nam has been kicked out
of her circle of friends by Gie, Cheer and Nim. So she now spends more
time with Top, Chone, Pin and their friends. One night, Nam attends a
bonfire with Top's friends. She looks very happy because she can be
close to Chone, until suddenly, Top kisses her cheek, which surprises
her. She seemed to realize that she had been doing the wrong thing all
this time,
pretending to be Top's girlfriend to be close to Chone. So, when Top drove her home, Nam expressed her feelings. She apologizes that there has been a misunderstanding between them and that she actually has someone else she likes. The next day, Top pours out his thoughts to Chone. He then asked Chone to promise that he would never have a relationship with Nam. As a good friend, Chone is willing to fulfill Top's request. Since breaking up with Top, Nam is now alone because she no longer hangs out with Top's friends. Meanwhile, Chone, who is now in grade 12, gets word from his father that he will be sent to Bangkok to join a soccer club after graduating from high school. At the end of the semester, Nam finally got the courage to visit her three friends. When they sat together, there was an awkward atmosphere between them.
Nam then sang a song that they used to sing together often.
Finally, they sing along in tears before Nam apologizes to them.
Now, their friendship has become as close as ever. One day, three of
Nam's friends tell her that she managed to top the rankings in her
class. Nam is very happy to hear that, because with this, she can follow
her father to New York. But before that, the trio asks Nam to express her
love for Chone because she probably won't be able to see him again.
After all, they thinks it's likely that Chone will accept her because,
according to them, now Nam has turned into a beautiful and
smart girl. Graduation day arrived, the students were busy signing
each other's uniforms. When Chone walked to the pool, Nam's friends
immediately asked her to follow Chone and express her love for him
there. There, Nam ventured to express her feelings, the love she had
suppressed for three years, to Chone. Unfortunately, Chone has been
dating Pin. Nam tried to be strong, even though tears fell down her
cheeks. She even prayed that Chone and Pin's relationship would be lasting
and full of happiness. But her feelings of grief turned to shame
because then she fell into the swimming pool.
After that, she walks out of school and accidentally runs into Pin. Seeing Nam crying, Pin asked what had happened to her. But Nam just silently sobbed. She hugged Pin for a while before walking away. Arriving at home, Chone has been awaited by a football club team who will take him to Bangkok. Before leaving, Chone opened an album containing Nam's photos. Secretly, it turns out that Chone has often taken pictures of Nam's face. Also, it was Chone who bit the apple after Nam finished performing the drama. He even planted roses when they were little, and he gave them to Nam on Valentine's Day. Because he was too cowardly, he did not dare to say that the flower was his gift. Before going to Bangkok, Chone placed a photo album and a message containing his feelings for Nam right on the terrace of her house. Nine years later, Chone was seen holding a small child who turned out to be Pin's son. Pin is a single mother who her husband has abandoned. Chone himself is still not married. At the end of the film, Nam is shown being interviewed by a TV station. She has become a fairly successful fashion designer in New York.
Nam's return to Thailand is due to a job and she wants
to see her mother. Then, the presenter gave a photo album before Nam went
to New York. The photo album was none other than a gift from
Chone. The TV presenter has invited Chone to appear as a surprise
guest for Nam. Apparently, after retiring as a soccer player, Chone has
now become a famous photographer. The two of them finally met on
the show after a long time apart. Nam asks if Chone is married, and
he says he hasn't married yet. Chone had been waiting for Nam to return
from America for nine years. They then became the sweetest couple.
The message of this story is, don't be a coward. If you like someone, tell
them how you feel before it's too late. Time flies and the person you
like may not be around you forever.
