Instant messaging platform WhatsApp started its journey with the exceptional feature 'Last Scene'. This feature set WhatsApp apart from other mediums. Now, of course, the feature can be seen in the form of Last Scene through various communication. However, the appeal of WhatsApp's last scene feature has not diminished yet.
WhatsApp authorities are working to enrich the Last Scene
feature, according to a report in India's technology media Gazette Now. It may
soon be available to everyone. That's what WhatsApp's feature monitoring site
WebTainfo claims.
There are currently a few options under the Last Scene
feature. By selecting 'Everyone', anyone will be able to see when a user was
last active on WhatsApp. If you select 'My Contacts', only those whose numbers
are saved in the user's phone will be able to see it. And by selecting
'Nobody', no one will be able to see when a user was last active in WhatsApp.
WhatsApp is going to add a new option to the Last Scene
feature, says Webinfo. This option will be 'My Contacts Except ...'. If you go
to this option and select someone, that person will not be able to see the
information related to the last scene of the user. In other words, except for
that particular person, everyone else will get the information of the last
scene.
Currently this feature is being developed for iOS users
only. However, the feature will be brought for Android users as well Exactly
when this feature will be launched is not known.
