Everyone uses WiFi for work needs. As a result, everyone saves WiFi password on their Android phone. But sometimes friends, loved ones can't remember the password at all. As a result, they can't even connect their devices. As a result, the router is forced to restart. Not only that, you also have to reconfigure. This again became a source of frustration for many. One of those problems is losing or forgetting the WiFi password.

If you have root access on your Android device, it is easy to see the saved WiFi password. For that you need to install Android 10 on your phone. However, Android 11 customers can also do this. No root access is required to view the WiFi password saved on the Android phone.


To view the WiFi password saved on Android 10 or Android 11 device, open Settings, select Network & Internet, and select WiFi. Here you will see the current WiFi network at the top of the list. Hold on with a little pressure here. Then you need to do face or fingerprint authentication. Now you can share the WiFi password of your device through QR code.


This can be done even if you have Android 9 operating system or older version. In this case also root access will be required. Because, the file in which the WiFi password is saved, the file must be entered. Usually, the file is saved in the phone storage. And in that case it is not possible to access this file without root access.




                                                                             



If you have root access on Android 9 version phones, go to the root directory in File Explorer and open -data - misc - wifi. Open the wpa_supplicant.conf file here. Here you can see the network name (ssid) and password (psk). However, you can use apps like Wi-Fi password viewer for this purpose. This app does the same thing and will let you know the WiFi password saved in the phone.
