According to a recent bizarre report in the South Korean media, an elderly father has been dumping rubbish in his home for the past decade, thinking of a secure future for a 40-year-old boy who refuses to leave home and take a job.
The report, aired on South Korean national television
network SBS, showed Choi, 65, bringing garbage from various streets in
Guangzhou to his two-story home. Garbage flooded his backyard, balcony, and
even his inner courtyard.
As the front door was completely covered in rubbish, SBS
reporters literally had to enter Choi's house with a pile of rubbish.
The smell inside the house is absolutely unsuitable for living! Choi, his 60-year-old wife, and their son have lived in the area for a decade. At first the neighbors complained about this but at one point they gave up.

It is learned that the couple's son is now in his 40s; He
weighs more than 100 kg. In the last one year, he has never set foot outside
the house. Likes to spend idle time sitting in a small room all day.
Despite repeated pleas from his parents to go out and find a
job, the lazy boy did not give up. And this is the reason why Choi is doing the
job of collecting garbage with a lot of mind!
'My son likes to be at home all the time. He has no desire to work. We are very worried about the matter. I'm afraid my wife and I will die at any moment; Then there will be no one to see him. So I pick up what I find lying on the street; These may be of some use to him, 'said Choi.

management revealed that Choi's wife was suffering from severe heart disease.
Doctors advised him to stay in a healthy environment. After much persuasion,
Choi agreed to allow the house to be cleaned for his own good and that of his
wife.
Then, with the help of 226 volunteers and an excavator, about 150 tons of garbage was removed from the house. Of course, even then, the couple's son was reluctant to leave his room; After talking to his parents, he set foot outside the house for the first time in a year.

will never pick up dirt in my life.'
